Description
Sedum sarmentosum – dol-namul ( or stringy stonecrop) is eaten as a spring vegetable in Korea, and called dol-namul. It is high in vitamin C and eaten raw. It has a crisp texture and is sometimes served with with a spicy and tangy gochujang sauce. It is a hardy evergreen low growing perennial that grows on rocky or well drained soil and makes a useful creeping ground cover. Very easy to propagate more plants by pinching off sections and planting directly or potting them up to take root.
